Joining Scouts
What is Scouts?
Scouts consists of small units of six to eight Scouts called a Patrol, ranging from ages 10-14. Outdoor activities feature prominently, with the highlight being camping. Throughout the year, Scouts learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid in preparation for camp. Rock climbing, potholing, gliding, photography and international experiences are just some of the things they get up to.
When do we meet?
Scouts meet at 7:00pm - 9:00pm every Friday during the school term. Campers also meet at 6:00pm - 8:00pm every Wednesday during the school term.
Added Information
Please always drop off and collect your child inside the Scout Hut. This is ensure the leaders have arrived and in case the meeting has to be cancelled at the last minute.
